Target Audience

“Archie The Archaeologist” is a game designed for people aged between 13 – 30 and many different types of gamers, it can appeal to gamers who like adventure games and side scroller games, aswell as many more. It can also appeal to the casual gamers as it isn’t a long game and doesn’t consumer hours of people’s time. It may seem like the game has a wide audience but it is mainly intended for those who like side scroller adventure games.

Target Platform

The target platform for this game is iPad and that will use the ever-growing ‘Apple iOS App Store’ It is a growing platform for handheld gaming with big game development companies releasing many apps onto the store, it also helps indie producers get their games out cheap, fast and effectively. The reason I chose this platform was because the game engine is very easy to use, especially when creating touch based games.
